Edo 2016: Over 100 PDP youths decamp to APC

No fewer than 100 youths in Oredo local government Area of Edo State, yes­terday decamped to the All Progressives Con­gress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying Mr God­win Obaseki’s agenda for Edo people is 100 percent guaranteed.

The youths under the aegis of 100 Percent Edo Youth Group from ward 7 in Oredo who were led by Peter and Paul Odijie also known as 10/10 tore their PDP membership cards stating that the PDP is dead in the state.

Delighted on the de­fection, Mr Peter Odijie said youths as agents of development can’t be seen fighting the same devel­opment especially in Edo State where infrastructur­al development has taken a new turn.

He added that the group has resolved to mobilise and deliver total votes for Obaseki, who, according to him, will provide 100 percent infrastructural development and indus­trialisation to the state.

The group however chided the candidate of the PDP, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu saying he is less than a threat to the emer­gence of Obaseki as gover­nor of the state. - The Authority.
