Nigerians in diaspora host tourism conference in Austria
Nigerians in the Diaspora Organisation Europe (NIDOE), is set to host the first ever tourism promotion conference since its formation years ago.
The debutant event, which has received the support of all NIDO Europe Chapter chairpersons, is billed for Vienna, Austria on July 1 and will be hosted by the Austrian chapter under the leadership of Engr Oluyemi Ogundele.
The main objective of the conference is to scout for investors for the tourism sector in Nigeria and expose them to the potential and benefits to be derived from investing in the country’s vast and rich tourism industry.
The main target groups of the conferecence will be other Nigerians and Africans in the Diaspora as well as the Europeans expected to be in attendance. The different state tourism boards and ministries in Nigeria including the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation and the Ministry of Information and Culture are expected to present their projects and promotions to attendees.
