Nigeria's unity negotiable, MASSOB replies Buhari
The Movement for
the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has told
Presi-dent Muhammadu Buhaari that Nigeria is divisible as nothing
would be able to stop MASSOB to pull Biafra out of the entity called
Nigeria.
MASSOB leader,
Uchenna Madu, stated this in reaction to Buhari’s statement that Nigeria
is in-divisible during the president’s Eidel-El-Fitr message to
Nigerians.
In a statement
issued in Onitsha and obtained by the AUTHORITY, it says that MASSOB
disa-grees with President Buhari that Nigeria is not indivisible, adding
that Buhari’s statements yes-terday in Abuja is enthusiastic
expression of an old man who still believes in his old way without
realising that a new trend has taken over.
“Buhari in inner
sense of reasoning believes that with his kinsmen occupying the
positions of mili-tary Service Chiefs including all the most senior
military high rank offices/ positions, he will easi-ly crush Biafra,
maybe with his intimidating tendencies over Igbo governors, National
Assembly members, religious/opinion/ political leaders, he still think
he can crush Biafra.” - The Authority
