City will beat Arsenal at Emirates, Iheanacho boasts
Super Eagles and Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has fired a warning shot to Arsenal ahead of the Premier League meeting between Manchester City and the London outfit at the Emirates Stadium on April 2.
The striker who has been left out in recent City games is confident that Manchester City can pick up three points against the Gunners, and says they will fight to achieve their objective.
“We are going to go to the Emirates and fight. We need a win there. It’s a good team, so we need to fight hard to get three points, ” Iheanacho told City official website.
“We are in a good situation. We played well against Liverpool and showed good character.
“We defended well, we attacked well, but unfortunately we couldn’t win.
“We are in a good position in the Premier League; we keep fighting and focus on the next games.”
Iheanacho, who has scored four league goals this season, could come up against his Super Eagles teammate Alex Iwobi on Sunday.
