Plateau set to return to NPFL summit
Title chasers, Plateau United, will seek to return to the NPFl summit after the weekend clash with Katsina United in Jos. Middle placed Katsina United, fresh from a controversial win over Enyimba in a match that later earned them LMC’s hammer will no doubt face a strong challenge from the Tin City side, which has fully recuperated after being off action last weekend.
A win by Coach Kennedy Boboye and his lads may return Plateau United back to the summit, depending however on what comes out of another high profile game between leaders, MFM, and Akwa United in Uyo.
Another title chasing side, El-kanemi warriors will welcome hard fighting ABS in Maiduguri, in a match which result could also change the position of things on the NPFL log, just as troubled former champions Kano Pillars will seek redemption against Niger Tornadoes, after failing at home last week to Akwa United in a tension soaked match that also earned them the LMC hammer.-The Authority
