  History will be made again as the Oluwo of Iwoland would be honoured for the second time consecutively as the African Monarch of the year at the African Custodian Award 2022

  His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr.) Abdulroshood Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, The Oluwo of Iwoland would be honoured at the African Custodian Award 2022 as the "African Monarch of the year 2022". 

  
  

  This award is in recognition of Oba Abdulroshood Adewale exemplary leadership qualities in changing The narrative in kingship and has also help to advance the development of his people and community in his respective engagement.

  The Convener of African Custodian Awards, Mr Tony Okpe has been one of those championing and projecting the continent Africa to the world towards global competitiveness over the years.

  
  

  The awards will be presented at an elaborate ceremony scheduled for Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Alausa. Ikeja, Lagos State.

  
  

  Announcing the programme of events for the day in a statement at the weekend, Mr. Tony Okpe, the convener of the award, said the ceremony will start at 12noon.

  
  

  Mr. Tony Okpe noted that the awardees were carefully selected through a rigorous process for their notable contributions to Africa's development.
