RANGERS BEAT PSV TO NIGERIAN STARLET ISHAKA

Scottish giants Rangers have announced the signing of Nigerian wonderkid Thompson Ishaka.

The 18-year-old was linked with several clubs including top Dutch club PSV Eindhoven who were believed to be seriously interested in signing him.

While English giants Chelsea and Manchester City were said to be considering inviting Ishaka for trials with a view to snapping him up.

Rangers have since announced the signing of the teenager.

“RangersFC is delighted to announce the signing of Thompson Ishaka until summer 2025,” a club statement read on Twitter.

Ishaka played for Riverlane Football Academy who are based in Enugu, Nigeria before moving to England where he schooled at Brooke House College.

The winger helped Brooke House College clinch the England Schools Football Association Under-18 title in 2018.
